also...could you feature platypuses (platypi; platypoda)?
1- they are mammals, yet lay eggs
2- the males have a hollow ankle spur filled w/ venom strong enough to kill a small dog.
3- they find their prey using electric fields [electrolocation]
4- their legs are on the side of their body, rather than underneath
Perhaps the platypus is too obvious a choice for your strip, but they enrich my Animal Planet-watching existence.
